Strategic Prayer & Fasting for Disciple Making Movements among Afghans
Vision
For disciples from across the world to engage in monthly, 24 hours of strategic prayer and fasting for Afghans, that we might see a saturation of prayer for these peoples and the Kingdom of God breakout among them in unprecedented ways.
January Theme: Everything Prayer
Every disciple making movement throughout history has happened in the context of passionate, persevering prayer for the harvest.

What better way is there then to start off the year by welcoming in faith more dependence on the Spirit, more gatherings of harvest focused prayer, more intimately connected disciples to the heart of the Father?

Ideas to pray about...

Pray for people from across the nations to be drawn in and taught by the Spirit to worship and intercede for Afghans both individually and in communities.
(Psalm 108:3)

Pray for God's people to have insight from the Holy Spirit into how to strategically uproot and plant in prayer for Afghanistan and its peoples
(Jeremiah 1:10; Isaiah 41:15-16)

Pray for God's people to come to their knees in humility, desperation and desire to see a saturation of God's Kingdom among Afghans throughout the world
(2 Chronicles 7:14; Matthew 6:10; Matthew 7:7-8)

Pray for disciples to foster a lifestyle of prayer that all they do flows from a place of dependence and responding to the Spirit.

Pray for disciples to develop the habit of extended times of passionate, persevering prayer & fasting for the Afghan peoples.(Matthew 14:23; Isaiah 62:6-7)

Pray for an increase of strategic prayer for every people group in Afghanistan and for thousands of prayer gatherings to form throughout the nations praying for all sixty eight unreached people groups.
(Matthew 18:20; Revelation 7:9-10)

What might a prayer movement for Afghans look like? What might it take?
Dream with God and pray out of this space - remember HE is the birth place of all things.
Take some time to ask the Spirit what the blockages are for seeing the above. Pray out of this space.
